Vocal Chords Traumatized

I have not been around for a while. We traveled to Georgia last weekend to visit our loved ones and to pick up our belongings which have been stored for a year (on our return all the lights on the back of the rental truck went out and stayed out) and I have been sick with the chest/throat business for a week now. Mr. Goodwrench was sick too, but never had the sore throat and laryngitis like myself. Now, I have been unable to talk for 4 days. I have not been to the doctor because I want to allow my immune system to finish this virus off. Hot foods, cold foods, Tylenol and cool beverages, these are my treaments. I have never lost my voice like this, before, though. Hmmm. Cell phone conversation is nill on my part. It feels like I am giving everyone the silent treatment. I purchased a couple of books to give my silence, company. Stay well people!
